... once upon a time "gunning it" in my souped-up 1965 Ford Falcon across the vast Nullarbor Plain (desert) of south-central Australia, at 160 kmh (100 mph), and avoiding giant red kangaroos leaping across the road;

... or trekking along the pristine fjords and glaciers of New Zealand's south island, and exploring the world's southernmost virgin rain-forests;

... or scuba diving amongst giant stingrays, sharks and brightly colored tropical fish in the Great Barrier Reef, along Queensland's beautiful coastline;

... or riding a brightly decorated huge bull elephant through the crowded main bazaar of Paharganj in New Delhi, ducking under the dangling live electricity cables;

... or sailing along Australia's scenic eastern coast, in a tiny wooden 6 metre "gaff rigged" sloop, being becalmed late at night in the shipping-lanes and then having to avoid collisions with monstrous container ships looming in the dark;

... or scaling the topmost span of the Sydney harbour bridge with an unruly bunch of whooping half-drunk American Marines, and enjoying breakfast at the apex as the sun rises to the east. turning the harbour golden coloured;

... or for one month, staying in a tiny timber hut on stilts in a Buddhist "Wat" compound nearby the Mekong River, in the notoriously dangerous Laotian "Golden Triangle" district of northeast Thailand, teaching English to the local children;

... or driving a brand spanking new Mazda coupe like a "bat out of hell" at 230 kmh (nearly 150 mph) across the world's largest single span bridge - the Westgate Bridge (Melbourne) - at 4 in the morning!

... or traveling into Uttarkhand (Himalayas) to attend the largest ever Khumbla Mela of the 20th century (some 10 million people converged there), then bathing in the Ganges at 3am with tens of thousands of Sadhus;

Just recently (September 2008), I've secured a long term lease for a building in Kullu (Himachal Pradesh) nearby the bus-stand ... where I plan to launch "The English Club" hand-in-hand with "The IELTS TOEFL Centre". The institute will offer all types of English language training programs, IELTS & TOEFL pre-test preparation, Spoken English courses, Tutelage for students in Years 10 -12, and Call Centre training programs.
